I heard that Mike started working for Gary Olsen's father's company "Dustex" after high school. He had a Triumph Spitfire spotscar and was making a trip to call on some Dustex customers in some of the smaller outlying communities in the central valley. He was hit head on while driving alone on a two lane road and was killed instantly. He was really a great guy and I remember what a hard working, talented athlete he was in our football team.
