Originally employed by Ed Jaksich BMW, he also worked for British Motors and Turner Motors. WHile at Turner Motors he was recruited by Steve Barber to join him in a business that specialized in the maintenance of Alfa Romeos. He became the heartbeat of the operation. During his 25 years at Barber's Shop, Frank developed the reputation of being an excellent mechanic and an irreplaceable friend. A favorite hobby of Frank's was making wine. Th taste of the drink was not as important to him as the time spent bottling with his dad and as sharing the "harvest" with his friends. Frank was a dedicated family man who was selfless in his commitment to provide happiness for his loved ones.

Frank brought happiness to everyone who knew him. Although I had not seen him over the years, the memories of him from our high school days make me smile! He was so much fun.

I have fond memories of Frank helping me 'tinker' with my Morris Minor that I drove to JFK.  I still have the Morris, I wish we still had Frank... Jon Merker

Frank and I remained friends up until his death from throat cancer. I watched his girls grow up and a better father never lived. His wife Barbara is a dear friend and we both sorely miss him. Frank was one of the most upbeat guys alive and could do more in an hour than most of us do all day...full of life and energy.

Barbara gave me a small bag of his tiny model cars as good luck charms at our Bon Voyage party, and they will accompany me and Marie as we sail around the world. God Bless you Frank, I hope they kept an MG polished and ready to go for you in heaven.
